I make films in documentary, narrative, and experimental genres. I also make music videos and online ads.
Currently, I am a student at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, (MCAD) majoring in Filmmaking and minoring in Art History. I expect to graduate from MCAD in May 2026 with a BFA in Filmmaking.
I studied Chinese language and literature at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a B.A. in East Asian Studies. I also studied psychology at the University of St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota and earned an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. Some of my films reflect my interests in psychology and Chinese history.
